Jemicy is committed to educating, developing, and nurturing the whole child and to promoting a strong sense of community. To that end, every student is encouraged to engage in a team sport or club and to make a positive contribution to society by volunteering their time for community service.
Clubs are student initiated and sponsored by Jemicy students or faculty. Some of the diverse club offerings include:
Settlers Of Catan
Through education and participation in collaborative and constructive activities, each Jemicy student will have the opportunity to learn empathy and grow personally through encouragement and service to other individuals or organizations in need. Our goal is for every student to graduate or transition from Jemicy with a strong moral compass and a heart of compassion. Jemicy requires each Upper School student to complete forty (40) hours of community service in a school approved setting of the student’s choice. Upper School Prep students must complete 10 hours of community service within the school setting.
