Participation in the arts is one of the most transformative avenues to success for Jemicy students. An above average percentage of students with language-based learning differences are creatively gifted. Through the arts, Jemicy students have the opportunity to develop confidence, focus, self-direction, and independence, which carries through to the classroom and life. Skills developed through Jemicy’s award winning arts program enhance and extend academic instruction by fostering creative problem solving, strengthening, executive function skills, and encouraging collaboration.
