Jemicy's Middle School focuses on teaching academic strategies and executive functioning skills within a comprehensive education program that includes a broad range of offerings in English, math, social studies, science, athletics, and the arts.
The school is dedicated to building self-confidence and self-advocacy, imparting strategies for success, fostering a commitment to life-long learning, and developing independent learners prepared for a successful transition to a college preparatory upper school learning environment. Jemicy School recognizes that its students possess an array of skills and abilities with talents, strengths, and potential that can be encouraged and reinforced to facilitate future success.

The academic year is based on a trimester system. Each day, students have a stimulating and academically rich experience that consists of seven class periods, two recesses, snack and lunch times. Optional afterschool athletics are offered each trimester. Throughout the week, students also have advisory and enrichment periods to support learning. Technology in the middle school is woven into the program. Each student is provided a laptop, and classrooms are equipped with interactive white boards. Both a Google platform and a learning management system are utilized by the school.
