Technology in the Middle School is integrated and infused throughout the curriculum. As part of our comprehensive program, Jemicy School supplies all middle school students with a Chromebook. The director of educational technology and curriculum innovation collaborates with teachers to weave technology into content classes and enhance instruction.
An extensive educational technology scope and sequence, adapted from ISTE standards, is used to ensure students are equipped with the skills necessary to function in the twenty-first century.

Students are taught skills and concepts across platforms using a variety of devices(including iPads and a 1:1 Chromebook program) in the following areas: personal digital management and productivity, utilization of assistive technology tools, basic computer operations, digital citizenship, digital communication and collaboration, creative digital innovation, and research and information fluency.

Students can visit the Innovation Station to get personalized support or reinforcement, as well as explore robotics, coding, and other STEM related concepts.
