  • Submit a Psycho-Educational Evaluation

    • Jemicy requires a full psychological evaluation that has been administered within two years of your application. Abbreviated tests may not be sufficient.
      • Wechsler Intelligence Scale (WPPSI, WISC-V, or WASI) preferred
      • Academic Achievement Testing
    • Please include any of the following evaluations or reports, if applicable:
      • Speech and Language 
      • Occupational Therapy
      • Tutor progress report
    • Contact the Admission Office for evaluator referrals, if needed.
  • Apply Online by Friday, January 5, 2024

    Applications received after January 5 will be considered if space is available.
    • Following your initial request for information, the Admission Office will provide login information to the MyJemicy admission portal, where you may access the online application.
    • A completed application includes:  
      • Psycho-educational testing
      • Parent meeting
      • Student Shadow Day
      • Teacher recommendation(s)
      • Report cards
      • Application and a non-refundable $75 application fee
    • Monitor the progress of your application through the MyJemicy admission portal.
  • Parent Experiences

    1. Parent Meeting (Required)
      • Please contact the Admission Office to schedule a meeting with the admission staff to discuss your child’s learning profile.
      • A copy of the psycho-educational evaluation must be submitted in advance of the meeting.
    2. Information Session (Not Required)
      • Throughout the year, Jemicy offers a number of information sessions that provide an overview of our programs and educational philosophy for prospective parents and educational professionals.

  • Student Experiences

    • Student Shadow Day (Required)
      • The application and application fee must be submitted prior to the student meeting. 
      • Contact the Admission Office to schedule a shadow day.
  • Send Teacher Recommendation and Records Release Forms (Grades 1-5)

  • Send Teacher Recommendation and Records Release Forms (Grades 6-12)

  • Complete Financial Aid Application (if applicable) by January 5, 2024

  • Admission Decision Notification Date: February 15, 2024

    • Admission decisions will be communicated via email at the close of business on Thursday, February 15, 2024.
    • For applications received after the January 5th deadline, notifications will be sent on a rolling basis.
  • Enrollment Contracts Due: March 1, 2024

    • Families who wish to accept the offer of admission from Jemicy must return their signed contract and non-refundable deposit by March 1, 2024.
