• Submit a Psycho-Educational Evaluation

  • Jemicy requires a full psychological evaluation that has been administered within two years of your application. Abbreviated tests may not be sufficient.
    • Wechsler Intelligence Scale (WPPSI, WISC-V, or WASI) preferred
    • Academic Achievement Testing
  • Please include any of the following evaluations or reports, if applicable:
    • Speech and Language 
    • Occupational Therapy
    • Tutor progress report
  • Contact the Admission Office for evaluator referrals, if needed.

• Apply Online by Friday, January 5, 2024

  Applications received after January 5 will be considered if space is available.

  • Following your initial request for information, the Admission Office will provide login information to the MyJemicy admission portal, where you may access the online application.
  • A completed application includes:  
    • Psycho-educational testing
    • Parent meeting
    • Student Shadow Day
    • Teacher recommendation(s)
    • Report cards
    • Application and a non-refundable $75 application fee
  • Monitor the progress of your application through the MyJemicy admission portal.

• Parent Experiences

  1. Parent Meeting (Required)
     • Please contact the Admission Office to schedule a meeting with the admission staff to discuss your child’s learning profile.
     • A copy of the psycho-educational evaluation must be submitted in advance of the meeting.

     • Throughout the year, Jemicy offers a number of information sessions that provide an overview of our programs and educational philosophy for prospective parents and educational professionals.

  • Student Shadow Day (Required)

  • • The application and application fee must be submitted prior to the student meeting. 
    • Contact the Admission Office to schedule a shadow day.

• Send Teacher Recommendation and Records Release Forms (Grades 1-5)

  • One teacher recommendation is required for lower school applicants (Grades 1-5). The form should be downloaded, signed, and sent to your child's current teacher.
    • Lower School Teacher Recommendation
    • Recommendations should not be completed prior to December 1, 2023.
    • The completed recommendation should be sent by your child's current teacher directly to Jemicy by email or fax.

    • Jemicy maintains strict confidentiality of teacher recommendations in accordance with The AIMS Statement on Confidentiality of Written Recommendations.
  • Download a Release of Records Form and provide a signed copy of the form to your child’s current school. This form gives the school permission to send a copy of your child’s report cards from the last two years (if applicable) to Jemicy.
    • Report cards should be sent by email or fax.

  • Two teacher recommendations are required for applicants (Grades 6-12). The forms should be downloaded, signed, and sent to your child's current English and math teachers.

    • Recommendations should not be completed prior to December 1, 2023.
    • The completed recommendation should be sent by your child's current teacher directly to Jemicy by email or fax.

• Complete Financial Aid Application (if applicable) by January 5, 2024

  • For information about Jemicy’s Financial Aid Policies and Procedures.
  • Apply for financial aid through School and Student Services by Community Brands (SSS), SSS Login.
  • The SSS portal will open on September 1, 2023, and applications are due January 5, 2024.
  • SSS requires a $60 non-refundable application fee per household. 
  • Financial aid decisions will be released with student enrollment contracts.
  • Questions about financial aid should be directed to JemicyFinancialAidOffice@jemicyschool.org.

• Admission Decision Notification Date: February 15, 2024

  • Admission decisions will be communicated via email at the close of business on Thursday, February 15, 2024.
  • For applications received after the January 5th deadline, notifications will be sent on a rolling basis.

• Enrollment Contracts Due: March 1, 2024

  • Families who wish to accept the offer of admission from Jemicy must return their signed contract and non-refundable deposit by March 1, 2024.
