Jemicy Athletics
PHILOSOPHY
Our athletic program is a vital piece of the Jemicy program, providing a conduit through which students gain respect for self and others, learn the value of dedication and hard work within a team setting, and develop character and sportsmanship. Additionally, Jemicy athletics creates the opportunity for a student to feel capable and successful, which increases confidence in and out of the classroom, especially important for students with learning differences. We believe that all students, regardless of experience or skill level, deserve the opportunity to participate and benefit from the valuable life skills that our athletics program provides.

Our coaches strive to develop our Jemicy student-athletes to be the best version of themselves. They utilize not only expertise in their sport but also their deep understanding of how to connect with students with learning differences, foster social growth, improve leadership skills, and develop a lifelong interest in healthy living and physical activity.
