The health and physical education program is designed to help instill in each student an overall belief in the importance of physical fitness and living a healthy life.

Health

The health curriculum focuses on topics such as nutrition, personal hygiene, fitness, and muscular systems. All lower school students have health class as an integrated part of their school schedule.

Physical Education

By meaningful physical engagement through team, partner, and individual sports/activities, students acquire fundamental motor and movement skills (body management, locomotion, and object-control) in order to build competence and confidence in their abilities. Motor memory is an important component of learning, especially in the area of physical education. Therefore, students engage in physical education regularly throughout the school year.
