Ben Voyage Celebration

It was an incredibly special night. Ben Shifrin's impact on generations of Jemicy families and the greater community was evident as alumni, parents, faculty, and staff came to honor his legacy.  

 

Highlights of the evening included a video featuring memories, accolades, and accomplishments from Ben’s 24 years, shared by past board chairs and special friends.   

The evening was hosted by Associate Head of School Tim Hormes and former Head of Lower & Middle School Megan McGowan. Following remarks from Board Chair Nate Tower ’80, Ben took the stage to a standing ovation. Director of Institutional Advancement Beckie Cowan Fisher '79 closed the program, as our generous community donated to fulfill Ben's dream of a new Upper School building.  

The Jemicy community will forever be grateful to Ben for his unwavering commitment to changing the lives of students who learn differently.  We are also deeply thankful for the generosity of the many sponsors, angel donors, and vendors who made this wonderful evening possible.
