The great tradition of Alumni Flag Day continued this past spring when we welcomed recent graduates (Class of 2021-2024) back to the Upper School Campus to reconnect with friends and faculty and to share their post-Jemicy experiences in college and career with the junior class.
Eight of the returning alums - Jonathan Kuessner ‘23, NASCAR Technical Institute; Brooke Lockwood, ‘23 Coastal Carolina University, Recreation & Sport Management; Yvette Villacorta ‘23, Towson University, Mass Communication; Nylah Wilson ‘23, James Madison University, Geology; Ally Mayo ‘23, Maryland Institute College of Art; Elan Mann ‘23, Ithaca College, Architecture; and Maya Glass ‘24, Parsons School of Design, Fashion Design - formed a panel that engaged the underclassmen in a Q&A session. In keeping with the annual tradition, before departing, the Class of 2024 unveiled its flag on the gym wall. The Class of 2025, who had raised its flag on the entrance circle pole in January, will do likewise when they visit on Flag Day this year.
