10-Hour Workshop
PARAGRAPHOLOGY® (ONLINE)
Paragraphology® is a multisensory, comprehensive, scaffolded approach to writing and note-taking that can be easily utilized by children, teens, college students, and adults. Teachers, tutors, and parents will enjoy this dynamic, online workshop, and leave with a full understanding of Paragraphology® from the brainstorming process, through color-coding, to understanding how to unlock a writing prompt.

This course is offered to the general public, as well as those in the Jemicy community.
A certificate of completion will be offered to qualified participants.

Wherever you choose! This workshop is fully online with classes held using a combination of Google and Zoom platforms.

Cost: $405

Instructor: Ashley Marks, Middle School Comp/Lit Dept. Chair

Prerequisite: None

Participants Will:

  • Develop a toolbox of manipulative resources that can immediately be used with their students.
  • Work on the basic five-sentence paragraph, expanded paragraph and additional paragraph types (reason, classification, compare/contrast, and process paragraph.
  • Understand research techniques, complex prompts, and note-taking templates to break down expository texts.
  • All course participants will receive a complimentary 3-month trial of our web-based Paragraphology®  App!
