The Vision for Jemicy School
STRATEGIC PLAN

The Jemicy School Strategic Plan was created with the involvement of the entire Jemicy community as a vision for the future. The Strategic Plan reflects the school’s resolve to maintain its educational leadership position in the learning disabilities community.

The plan includes goals and objectives that were determined to be important at the time the document was created. These may change as the plan is regularly reviewed, evaluated, and updated with the most relevant information and research to best serve and meet the needs of our students, faculty, staff, and community.

Continue to develop a high quality, researched-based, effective, and flexible curriculum that is personalized for each student and includes the use of technology to attain instructional goals and develop students’ proficiency with tools for success beyond Jemicy

Continue to provide a safe, secure, and risk-free learning environment
EVALUATION>>

Utilize our Advisory Board as a quality control panel to help fine tune our program and curriculum
FACILITIES>>

Maintain and improve facilities to provide a safe, functional physical environment that supports programmatic requirements, ensuring learning needs of current and future students are adequately addressed
ALUMNI>>

Encourage and empower the Jemicy School Alumni Association to create a sense of community and caring that endures beyond graduation and contributes to the legacy of a Jemicy education
FACULTY>>

Attract and retain outstanding faculty by empowering and rewarding teachers, encouraging innovation, and offering expanded opportunities for professional development
FINANCIAL>>

Manage the school’s financial viability to realize future goals and vision, which include growing and maintaining our facilities, expanding our business model, keeping tuition affordable, and continuing to increase our already sizable endowment
