Through the English curriculum, students learn to think and respond critically, creatively, and purposefully to literature and, with a strong emphasis on vocabulary development and writing skills, they are prepared to meet the demands of college level courses and a competitive work environment. Eight (8) English credits (two each year) are required for graduation.
