Summer at Jemicy
CAMP JEMICY
Camp Jemicy is a 5-week, co-ed day camp for students age 6 - 14 run by Jemicy School, a leader in the education of children with dyslexia or other related language-based learning differences.

Camp Jemicy’s separate Moose (for campers 6–10 years old) and Viking (for campers 11-14 years old) programs enable age-appropriate programming targeting the skill levels and interests of our campers. The Moose and Viking Camp programs operate individually from one location – Jemicy’s Upper School Campus.
Camp Jemicy

HIGHLIGHT
CREATING NEXT GENERATION’S FILMMAKERS!
Campers went wild with their creative mojo, as they enthusiastically, and in some cases literally, ran with their arts class project. Referred to as “pixilation,” a technique used in film to make real people seem like artificial animations, the students were challenged to create human stop motion movies that incorporated the motions of sliding, flying, and teleporting! Movies were created using the iPad app iMotion.
