JEMICY’S STUDENTS GROUP VISITS AQUARIUM

Every winter, M Group's science and art classes focus on the theme of ocean animals. Students explore different ocean creatures and their adaptations, with each developing an in-depth research and 3-D art project about a specific animal.
Recently, M Group traveled to the Aquarium in Baltimore and spent the day enhancing their knowledge of aquatic environments. Highlights included the touch tanks, observing dolphin training and fish-feeding, and spotting the sloth in the rainforest canopy.  Many of the student-researched animals were on display, including the green sea turtle, lined seahorse, white-spotted jellyfish, and magnificent anemone. It was a wonderful day of truly experiential learning!
