The physical education program is designed to help instill in each student an overall belief in the importance of physical fitness. 
By engaging in meaningful physical activity through team, partner, and individual sports/activities, students acquire fundamental motor and movement skills (body management, locomotion, and object-control) in order to build competence and confidence in their abilities. Motor memory is an important component of learning, especially in the area of physical education. Therefore, students engage in physical education three times per week.
