  • UPPER SCHOOL MATH TEACHER

    Jemicy Upper School is seeking a full-time upper school math teacher for the remainder of the 2018-2019 school year beginning February 25, 2019. Jemicy School educates talented and bright college-bound students (grades 1 – 12) with dyslexia or other related language-based learning differences. Applicants should be experienced educators who are able to teach a range of math courses, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus, have the ability to meet the needs of individual students, and are adept at utilizing multisensory instructional techniques that support a broad range of student learning styles. A bachelor’s degree in mathematics (or a closely related field) with 3 to 5 years of teaching experience, or acceptable combination of education and experience, is required. Additionally, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and be committed to developing successful learners who will be prepared for careers of the 21st century.
