Mid-Autumn Festival

In Chinese class, students celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.
In River Hansen's Chinese class, students celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, in China. Students got to enjoy different types of mooncakes, which are traditionally Chinese bakery products typically eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival. After sampling several flavors, the students in Ms. Hansen's class thought the Chestnut mooncake was the best. After all the students taste-tested the mooncake flavors, they then learned about the traditions and myths associated with the Mid-Autumn Festival.
