Parents' Association Mission Statement

The Parents’ Association (PA) is a coalition of the parents at Jemicy School who join together to support activities for the betterment of the school and to participate in fundraising. The PA sponsors and/or supports many activities throughout the school year that enhance the school program. We are grateful for their partnership and support.

• To serve as a source of information and support to other parents concerning the education of children with language-based learning differences. The PA helps underwrite the David Malin Lecture and other informational speakers throughout the school year.
• To support the school staff in its best efforts to meet the needs of students at Jemicy School. The PA provides classroom stipends, supplies, and volunteers.
• To work with school administration to enhance the school environment. PA provides input to the school leadership.
• To raise extra funds for school needs that are not provided by regular school budgets. Your PA funds and supports campus activities, such as field trips, Festival Day, Prom, Graduation, Fall Fest, and much more.
• To volunteer time in ways that will strengthen the school. The Jemicy Parents’ Association has a long history of being one of the strongest and most dedicated parent organizations in the area. It provides a vital and much appreciated service to the entire school community – contributing to our family atmosphere.
