Jemicy Professional Outreach
Overview
Jemicy School’s Professional Outreach Center provides professional training, informal instruction, materials and mentoring to educators and parents so they may better identify, understand, and address learning differences in their students and children. Working closely with those connected to Jemicy as well as with the wider educational community, Outreach professionals are also in the classroom, directly teaching students who struggle with reading, written expression, organization and spelling. Working in schools allows the Outreach staff to model strategies proven effective in teaching students who struggle with language-based learning differences.
