Twice-Exceptional Scholars Program
In June 2007, Jemicy was one of four schools nation-wide to receive a grant for twice-exceptional student scholarships. A “twice-exceptional” student is both learning disabled and gifted. (http://www.gifted.uconn.edu/nrcgt)The four-year, $367,000 JKC grant offers academic scholarships for qualified students to attend Jemicy’s Middle and Upper Schools. The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s mission is to advance the education of extraordinary students with financial need and to increase diversity on campus.
